Emerging New Zealand singer-songwriter Isla Noon unveiled another song a couple of weeks ago. Out on Bigpop Records, “I Need To Go Home” is the third single from the artist — and another brilliant product of her continued collaboration with producer Maude Minnie Morris.
“I Need To Go Home” is a highly danceable, 80s-influenced pop track. Contrastingly, the lyrics describe the moment one realizes that they don’t quite fit into the vibe of a party, in Isla’s case, a night out. The singer’s performance captures the urgency with which she wants to escape.
