“Black & Blues” is the latest offering from Massachusetts-born singer-songwriter and The X-Factor contestant Armen Paul. A glossy, electro-infused indie-pop ballad, it was released on February 4.

As per the artist, “Black & Blues” creates a metaphor around the idea of growing so emotionally detached and numb to someone that the only potential feeling you could have for them would be the feeling of physical pain.

Armen’s broody lyrics and emotive delivery give the song its affecting feel. Still, “Black & Blues” is an irresistible singalong.
