Nairobi-based production outfit Supadrum have just unveiled “Time”, their first collaboration with rapper Chevy Kev.

Kev is a 25-year-old hailing from Nairobi’s South B area. Drawing inspiration from African stars like AKA, Nyashinski and Cassper Nyovest, this emerging artist creates music which is both unique and heavy on experimentation.

“Time” found him and Supadrum on the same wavelength. And, while the beat carries influences from 2000s kapuka, the rapper’s delivery is consistent with today’s Kenyan style.

“Time” is an uptempo track that will surely heat up the dancefloors.
