With the unveiling of her latest single “Cashew”, rising artist Casey Conroy has kickstarted the rollout of a two-EP release.

This new song saw her team up with frequent collaborator Gavin Hadley and producer Willy Colon. Sam Sherbin and Chris Gehringer mixed and mastered the song, respectively.

“Cashew” is a melody-filled indie-pop song. With her great delivery, Casey coveys the idea of “what it feels like to love someone more than they love you.“

Involving the words ‘cashew’ and ‘catch you’ being used interchangeably, it is quite catchy, especially the chorus. I couldn’t help but play “Cashew” on repeat.
