Emei is one of the most exciting pop artists that emerged in 2022. And this year, she is taking off.

Having already dropped two impressive (and well-received) singles, the alt-pop newcomer has now unveiled the title track of her upcoming sophomore EP, Cynical.

The bubbly track addresses Emei’s ‘constant need to destroy any semblance of peace and her need for self-inflicted disasters’.

The music video is as dramatic as the song itself, with the artist’s performance so enthralling. I’ve probably mentioned it already, but Emei is an artist to watch.
