Freedust, the UK-based funk/soul outfit founded by Daniele Carmosino and Lisa Widmark, have just unveiled a new album titled Groove Chronicles. The project is 12 tracks long, and includes “What We’ve Lost”, a song featuring Barcelona-based rapper (and Freedust’s long-time collaborator) Mebreeze.

Delving into the challenges of living in a corrupt system, “What We’ve Lost” is as enthralling as it thought-provoking. Layers of horns and strings complement the stirring vocals, giving the song its galvanizing feel.
