Brisbane’s TIAHN is bubbling under. With a brand of indie pop that’s effervescent and sassy, the young Australian artist is fervently vying for a spot in your daily playlists.

I particularly love the energy of her latest single, “Bitch Face”, which arrived just over a fortnight ago. With its tongue-in-cheeks and disco-laced groove, the song is energetic and simply infectious.

“The idea for the song came from a conversation I was having with my friend,” TIAHN reveals. “He mentioned that when we first met, he thought I hated him because of the looks I would give him. It was the absolute opposite, I just thought he was cool and I was nervous. We’ve been friends for 10 years now, so it’s pretty funny that’s how our relationship started. I wanted to write this song to tell everyone I don’t hate you… I’ve just got a resting bitch face.”

This year promises to be a busy one for the singer, who is currently getting ready to release her debut EP. Taken from that upcoming project, “Bitch Face” is TIAHN’s second song of 2026.
