A few months ago when I heard Mono Mochi‘s music for the first time, I found myself totally sold. And, so, when the Swedish outfit released their sophomore album, Static Pleasure, late last month, it was a given that I would be diving in.

I mean, their lo-fi textured blend of indie rock and indie pop is just so captivating. The analogue production gives the music an irresistibly warm feel.

Static Pleasure arrived with songs like “Lessons In Love (I’ve Never Learned)”. With this particular song, Mono Mochi crafted a laidback tune that captures the bittersweet humour of growing up emotionally.
