Samia gets melancholic in her latest release, “Django”

How can a song be deeply melancholic yet so sweet? 21-year-old New York singer-songwriter Samia knows how to play with these contrasting emotions.

“Django” dives deep into the depressing heights of teenage sorrow. In fact, she wrote the song at 17, while crying in a bathtub. Her great vocals and the song’s superb arrangement complements the gripping composition.

The song was released through the label, Grand Jury music. The company works with artists like Mothers, Twin Peaks, Hippo Campus, among others. Listen to the song below.
