For his sophomore EP, Illuminations, Luke Underhill crafted 5 beautiful songs that represent this unique sound and signify his evolution as a musician. The EP was released over the weekend and is the follow up to his 2017 debut, The Left Side EP. This new project saw him working with producer Warren Huart, who had, apparently, been following the artist’s steady progression.
22-year-old Luke indicates that his music influences range from Gavin DeGraw and Bruce Springsteen to Ed Sheeran and Ben Folds. His style is a fusion of various flavours but it maintains an indie-pop flair. “Long Way Home” is one of my best songs on Illuminations, which is entirely available for streaming below via Soundcloud.
