With the arrival of Emily James‘ song “Hung Up” on July 15, her new EP Illuminate was finally available to fans. It was released via Nettwerk Records.

“Hung Up” was accompanied with a colourful and summer-loving music video next to it.

The song is super catchy and upbeat and about it, Emily says, “‘Hung Up’ is an anthem for anyone who is tired of holding back their feelings for someone. It’s about being bold and picking up the phone and just being like, ‘Hey, are you into me? Cuz I’m into you.’ I hope it empowers people and gives them an extra boost of confidence to say what’s on their heart.”

Illuminate also includes tracks like “Bird of Prey“, “Cannonball” and others.
