Washington, D.C.-based band DuPoint Brass have finally unveiled their album Music Education. Throughout the 11 tracks, they explore a coalescence of sounds: jazz, soul, hip-hop, funk and R&B. “Let’s Go” (highlighted above) is one of the songs on the LP and it features fast-rising DMV area rapper ADÉ. It’an upbeat feel-good tune for the tune with a romantic inclination.
DuPoint Brass has been making music for over ten years now. It started out when five Howard University music majors linked up during one Christmas holiday season to perform and raise tuition fees. Currently, the outfit is 8 members strong.
