Algerian-born French rapper Rilès has a new song out; “GOA” is actually his first single of the year. With fun and superficial lyrics delivered in English and minimal French, the song displays his mastery of contemporary rap flows. All that over an engagingly bouncy trap beat perfect for the club environment.
“GOA” is pronounced as ‘gwa’. About the record, Rilès says: “I was making music for fun to share a vibe other than something really lyrical or too romanticized or something that’s too poetic. I just wanted to go with the vibe and the flow. It was really no problems and no pressure while creating.”
The track is out courtesy of Universal Music Group’s Republic Records and accompanied by a lyric video. Watch above via YouTube.
