Los Angeles-stationed Icelandic singer and songwriter Klara Elias is making her much awaited return as a solo artist with the song “Paralyzed”. Although this is her debut single, she’d already made a name for herself as the lead singer of Nylon, Iceland’s most successful girl-group.

Before making this return, she’d been a songwriter, penning songs for other artists. Now, as she embarks on a new chapter with this single (a debut EP titled Loveaholic expected to drop in January), we can’t hide our excitement.

“Paralyzed” is a bluesy and soulful pop/rock ballad about a painful heartbreak. Klara co-wrote it with Alma Goodman and producer James “Gladius” Wong.
