Slaine x ILL BILL – “When the War Ends”
George Carroll (also known as Slaine) is one of the not-so-many artists who have had success both in music and movies. Now, the rapper has returned with an overwhelming new album, The Things We Can’t Forgive. Highlighted is the first track “When The War Ends”, which features ILL BILL. Generally, this is a gloomy yet uplifting piece. As an accompaniment, the emcee shared a thought-provoking music video he created with the help of Christian Hardy.
Catch The Fade x iconthaGod x Ras Kass x Planet Asia – “Miguel Cotto III”
“Miguel Cotto III” is a new track from Baltimore-based rap duo Catch The Fade (made up of Ron James and Sir Tizzy). Featuring iconthaGod, Ras Kass and Planet Asia, the song captures the emcees taking turns as they deliver heavy bars, talking about an array of topics. “Miguel Cotto III” is for the fans who prefer hip-hop in its unadulterated form.
Britizen Kane x Turkish Dcypha x Royce Da 5’9″ – “Locked & Loaded”
“Locked & Loaded” is an explosive new record from Manchester-based rapper Britizen Kane and London producer Turkish Dcypha. The UK artists got to feature American rap legend Royce Da 5’9″on the song. Over a punchy beat, the emcees deliver in-your-face lyrics that will excite many a hip-hop head. “Locked & Loaded” once again proves that Kane and Dcypha is a perfect match.
Cadence Weapon x Jacques Greene – “SENNA”
Toronto-based rapper and producer Cadence Weapon recently shared an unapologetic new song, “SENNA”. A tribute to legendary Brazillian F1 driver Ayrton Senna, the track saw him collaborating with fellow Canadian musician Jacques Greene. “SENNA” combines elements of grime and electronica, with the overall sound being unique and riveting. Alongside the track arrived a music video directed by Scott Pilgrim. “SENNA” is the first single from the artist’s upcoming LP, Parallel World (out April 30 via eOne Music).
NSN Klippa – “Lawyer Money”
Up-and-coming Californian rapper NSN Klippa has shared the music video for his song “Lawyer Money”. Taken from his new album titled Drum Set, the song was made for both the clubs and streets. Over a bouncy West Coast style beat, NSN delivers fun and abrasive bars. NSN produced “Lawyer Money” himself.

iiiConic x JessB – “Fast Lane”
Australian rapper iiiConic enlisted his New Zealand counterpart JessB and together the duo created a new ‘flex anthem’ called “Fast Lane”. Produced by iiiConic and mix/mastered by Brandon Jonak, the it’s a exciting tune. The trap song sees the artists showing off their impressive flows as the discuss their lifestyle. And they’re both clearly winning; while iiiConic is common name in top music blogs, JessB recently had her song “Shut Up!” featured in the second episode of the new American TV series The Equalizer.
Joe Burn x DJ Rogue – “Hillsides”
UK emcee Joe Burn kicks off the year with a new single, “Hillsides”. Working with Bristol’s DJ Rogue (who chips in some amazing cuts) and producer Leaf Dog, they created a boombap track worthy any level of praise. “Hillsides” is the first track from Green Brick Records’ upcoming release Brick Top Vol.1. The LP will be available on 12″ vinyl.
R.O.E. – “Higher”
Los Angeles-based Chicago native R.O.E. has shared the visuals for “Higher”. The song is lifted from the rapper’s 2020 album, Radiant. Previously, we’d shared “Shine“, another single/video off the LP. “Higher” is sort of a weed anthem delivered over a jazz-influenced beat produced by J. Slikk. “Although ‘Higher’ is about my love for cannabis, it also represents going higher in mind, body, and spirit. The hook is an affirmation of wanting to raise your frequency and to connect with your higher self.”

Teck-Zilla x Mista Books x Phlow – “Unapologetic”
The Harder The Better is a new 7-track collaborative EP by Nigerian-based emcee/producer duo Mista Books and Teck Zilla. One of the tracks on it is the smooth “Unapologetic”. A piano-driven classic hip-hop cut, the song features Phlow, a fierce femcee from Nigeria. Phlow and Mista Books stay charismatic as they urge us to be true to ourselves.

Steve Murf – “The QUESTion”
The debut single by Steve Murf finds the Atlanta artist showcasing his awe-inspiring rhyme skills. Named “The QUESTion”, the soulful song is simply so good. In fact, it’s already been picked up by the TV show, grown-ish. Steve Murf is rapper, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist. Prior to his solo career, he was a founding member of the rap group American Foster Child.
