Mexico City-based, all-women collective I.M YONI did unveil their new EP titled Premier on July 23rd. This 5-track body of work includes previously released singles “Brillando” featuring Corine and “Déjà Vu” with Sarah Maison. Out via toucan sounds, Premier arrived alongside the single “I Don’t Want You” (video posted above).
The name I.M YONI is a stylized form of Independent Musicians of Yoni. Its membership includes Estefani Brolo, sisters Josefa and Esperanza de Velasco, Ana Rizo and Ximena Duggan. Their music genres range funk and R&B to dance and pop.
