Chicago indie-rock band The Darling Suns are getting ready to unveil their new EP this coming Friday, July 29. To get you in the mood, here is the project’s final single, “Under The Sun” which arrived a fortnight ago.

“Under The Sun” is a melody-filled indie-rock track with profound lyrics.

“After a few years at my worst, and a few years getting better- I decided to write about it. One day I woke up on a beach with literally nothing to my name and I felt destroyed, but in the same moment for the first time ever, I felt like I didn’t have to feel that way anymore. This song is that, that feeling I felt when I knew it was time to change,” reads a post on the band Instagram page.
