HIGH TIDE finally took place yesterday 30th June at The Alchemist bar in Nairobi. The show is produced (and headlined) by EA Wave and it showcases musical influences and inspiration across the world. EA WAVE is a DJ/Producer collective based in Nairobi. The members include Nu fvnk, Jinku, Ukweli, Hiribae and Sichangi. They are part of the NuNairobi movement that is inclined to bypass the mainstream media.
The High Tide event was mad fun. Different revelers and patrons thronged the venue to get a piece of it. Here is a clip of how things went down.
